Our story
Shop Toast was started in 2006 as a weekend hobby by a couple of former architects who loved packaging and graphic design.
Who we are
It grew from craft-fair tables into a gift shop in Kaimuki that ran for more than fifteen years, and today the shop sells its pieces online.
The shop designs its own pieces and handcrafts its wooden gifts in Honolulu: keepsake boxes, ornaments, charms and wood postcards. It also has its own Island Sunscent fragrance line.
The name
Toast, as in cheers: the name raises a glass to the small celebrations a gift is made for.

What we make

How it works
- Shipping. Ships within the United States, usually within 1 to 2 business days (longer in the holiday season). Shipping orders of $150 or more ship free.
- Pickup. Pickup on Oahu can be arranged; the shop tells you where and when it is ready.
- Outside the US. For an address outside the United States, ask the shop first.
- Returns. Because each piece is handcrafted, sales are final. A defective item can be exchanged within 14 business days with the receipt.
Planning favors or a special gift?
Party favors are where the shop started. It still takes on custom favor orders when its schedule allows, so ask early and describe what you have in mind.
